Worst tattoo in the world just got fixed!

"I got to tackle the official "#1 worst portrait tattoo in the world" today. I'm sure you've all seen it a million times online, as had I. I couldn't believe my eyes when this guy walked in and showed me this project. I think my jaw literally hit the floor.
He went on to tell me the story behind the portrait; He had just married his beautiful wife and not even three months afterwards she was killed in a horrible house fire accident leaving him to raise their three children alone. Shortly after he went to a local tattoo studio to memorialize his wife and was left with this abomination.
He later returned to that studio for one more session, thinking that perhaps "he had done something wrong in the healing of the tattoo" and they butchered it even more the second time.
Touched by his story, I gifted the entire project to him for free. Now he has closure and I have an amazing story to add to my portfolio!"

First Electronic Tattoo Printed Onto Skin
The Rogers Research Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has given us stick-on electronic tattoos and stretchable batteries, but now they’ve outdone themselves by creating the first electronic sensor to be printed directly onto human skin.
The printable sensors are an extension of the groups electronic tattoos and can measure skin hydration, temperature and electric signals from muscle and brain and activity.Unlike the stick-on electronic tattoos that use an elastic polymer backing and can easily wash off in the shower or swimming pool, the new e-tats do away with the polymer backing and are printed directly on the skin. Doing so made the sensors 1/30th as thick as previous devices and better at conforming to the natural ridges of skin.
“What we’ve found is that you don’t even need the elastomer backing,” John Rogers told Technology Review. “You can use a rubber stamp to just deliver the ultrathin mesh electronics directly to the surface of the skin.”
Once the sensors were printed on the skin, researchers used a commercially available spray-on bandage to protect the electronics. However, due to the skin’s natural exfoliation process, the sensors flaked off after two weeks. Researchers said this is a fundamental flaw of epidermal electronics. To achieve a longer lifespan, sensors would need to be embedded under the skin like read tattoos.

Netflix for free!

A man who permanently inked his body with the Netflix brandname has received a year-long free subscription to the online streaming service.
A man using the Twitter account TheRealMyron, later identified by media reports as Myron Robinson of Kokomo, Ind., sent out a message with a photo of his recent tattoo — the Netflix logo on his upper torso.
The message was directed at Netflix, with Robinson telling the company he "loves them" and that it should feature him in a commercial.
"NO WAY! Free year for you," some tweeted from the U.S. Netflix account when they saw the photo of Robinson's tattoo.
When Robinson heard the news, he tweeted that "Netflix just made my year." He continued to press the company for a commercial cameo and asked Netflix to offer him a job. It appears the company has not responded to those requests.
But, not everyone is impressed with Robinson's new body art. In a Reddit discussion forum where the story was posted, commentators questioned his reasoning. One person cringed at the idea of copy-cat tattoos, saying "Prepare for a wave of idiots with Netflix tattoos hoping to get a free year."
Many commentators also said they thought that Netflix should have offered Robinson a free lifetime subscription rather than just a year.
A Netflix subscription costs $7.99 per month, meaning a year-long subscription tallies just under $100 before taxes.
Robinson is a college student and entrepreneur with his own clothing line, according to his Twitter account.
